About Palmer School of Excellence

Palmer School of Excellence is a safe and welcoming football programme open to any child aged from 5 to 12 years old.

Our aim is to encourage and promote the development of junior and youth football in our region. With enjoyment and community at the core of everything we do, our team remains dedicated to offering an environment against intimidation and rejection but in support of potential and building confidence.

We pride ourselves on our friendly and approachable coaches, state of the art techniques and purpose-built facilities, selected by International Footballer, Liam Palmer.

Our goal is to reach as many children as possible, we believe football should be accessible to everyone – all ages and all genders.

The PSOE Approach

An ethos of ‘football for all’ and a vision to develop a love for the game, regardless of gender or disability. ‘’Love the game’’ is a key mantra of the school and the golden thread that runs through the heart of the delivery of interactive sessions to develop skills and stay active and reach their own potential.

Our Chosen Charity

Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice cares for children and young adults whose lives are sadly just too short. The charity offers a home from home for families facing the toughest of times.

At Palmer School of Excellence, we are committed to increasing awareness and raising money for this incredible cause, allowing Bluebell Wood to support children and their families in our local area.

As a school, we encourage the P.A.L.M.E.R values outlined in the approach above. We believe this structure and mindset is invaluable both on and off the field.

Here we embrace the FA Four Corner Model balancing achievement with development. Our soccer centre is a place of learning, it’s about encompassing education and fun with self-expression.

We support and promote equality and inclusion within grassroots football.
